The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin.
\nThe Holy Spirit reveals truth of scripture.
\nThe Holy Spirit gives us understanding of scriptures.
\nThe Holy Spirit gives us faith.
\nThe Holy Spirit equips us to do the things God would have us to do.<\/p>\n
You are incapable and inadequate to do God’s work in your power.<\/p>\n
I don’t have to live the Christian life because there is someone on the inside
\nof me who is willing to live it through me if I would let him do it.<\/p>\n
I absorb the book.<\/p>\n
I’ve heard enough dead preaching that has no real life to it, no real power in it.
\nI did not want to waste my time and anyone else time standing there and talking about the Bible.<\/p>\n
He did not give the Holy Spirit ample recogition.
\nIt’s the person of the Holy Spirit who conveys our prayer to him.<\/p>\n
When I open the word of God, I ask the Holy Spirit to teach me the truth.
\nDear Holy Spirit lead me to the truth.<\/p>\n
Jesus was the most magnetic person that has ever lived.
\nThe Holy Spirit is friendly, he can be grieved by ignoring, resisting, doubting. sinning against him, turning our back on him.
\nWhen dealing with the Holy Spirit, don’t take things in your own hands.
\nIf you don’t love, you can’t grieve.
\nThe Holy Spirit loves so much when we resist him he is grived.<\/p>\n
The Holy Spirit Role In Salvation<\/p>\n
1. Sin. His goal is not just to bring a guilty feeling, but to show the need for a Savior.<\/p>\n
2. Righteousness. In order to come to faith, one must understand that Jesus Christ lived a holy life but was crucified for our iniquity.
\nThen He rose again, conquering death and offering redemption to all men.<\/p>\n
3. Judgment. scripture teaches that after death, those who didn’t trust Jesus as Savior will stand before God and be judged.<\/p>\n
He makes war on our behalf against our flesh and sin. (Galatians 5:17)<\/p>\n
Give me wisdom of scripture, give the gift of teaching.<\/p>\n
